My thought

I believe Google is the future of the whole world. Since the day I have started using Google I have always loved it for its uniqueness and creativity. Google search engine has indeed revolutionised the world. Now I will love to see Google to bring the next big revolution in education sector and bridge the gap between knowledge and common-man.

When I was a child I always used to dream of becoming a scientist when I grow up. Although I could not fulfil my dream due to the faulty education system in my country, I wish that the dreams of every single child get fulfilled with “Google Play School”. It’s like if you have a passion to learn, nothing should stop you,… ;)

Go Google,… go change the world. Make it a better place to live in….:)

How can Google Benefit from this Project?

Only 5% of Indian population uses the Internet. That means there is a market for 95% of Indian population which is still to learn the use of internet. Also 64% of Indian population is below the poverty line. If Google manages to teach English language to this 64% population it would not only increase the number of Google users but also increase its fan base there by generating a good amount of revenue.

Also Education sector is one of the biggest and most profitable sectors in the world. With Google stepping in, it would not only make it profitable for Google but also revive the education sector which is very poor in many countries.

Moreover as per the recent market scenario, the US market is going through its biggest economic crisis. The picture of European market also seems weak. So the only chance of growth for a company like Google is by investing in under-developed and developing countries like India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Africa ect,..But these economies cannot grow unless they have an effective government with educated people. The greatest impediment to their growth is corruption. And this is not going to change unless the people get educated and vote the right candidate to power. So it’s the biggest opportunity for Google to grab.

What is Google Play School?

It is an application that Google can build to teach this 7billion population, the subject they love. It would include everything from Physics to Maths, Geography, Biology and various other subjects.  It’s a unique and fun-filled platform to learn and grow.

Suppose I want to learn Guitar and my friend wants to learn Spanish. We don’t have time to find a teacher to teach us the subject. But with Google Play School, we can learn our subjects by sitting at home. The creative and easy-to-learn Google videos and journals can easily be downloaded from Google Play School application. It would have courses ranging in various levels to make the subject easy and interesting. There can also be various vocational courses to make the learner self-employed.

Google Play School application can be designed by Google. Just like Facebook or youtube, people can login to get information on any subject they want. They can also attend classes watch videos and would have lot of fun exploring new things.

To educate the poor little children around the world, Google can take the help of some social workers who all can teach the children in villages through video conference. But the classes of Google can be so creatively designed with videos and stories that children will hate to miss a single day.

What I have observed so far is that the greatest impediment to the learning of children in various rural areas is the English language. If Google can manage to teach English to these kids through its unique schools, they would themselves login to Google Play School Application to learn the subjects of their choice.

Where from the idea germinated?

Looking at the poverty in my country and other African countries I often used to think, whether we really have some permanent solution to this problem? Whether it is possible to completely eradicate poverty from the world? There are thousands of children on the streets of India who all do not have access to the basic amenities of life. Many even find it hard to get a day’s meal.

For many years a lot of NGOs are working to improve the economic condition of the poor people in India and Africa. But nothing substantial has been achieved so far. Rather the poverty has increased manifold and the money has run into the politicians’ pocket.

After some deliberation, what I found out that the real problem for this poverty is not lack of money but lack of education. What the poor people around the world need is not money but education. Education is the greatest impediment to their growth. If they get proper education they would learn to ask their rights from the crooked politicians, and this only can help in eradicating poverty.

Government around the world have made various policies and introduced new schemes to educate the poor rural children. But none of the policies have shown any substantial result. In India government has introduced the mid-day meal scheme to lure the poor children school. But even this has not proved worthy.

Children are the most beautiful creation of God. They do what they love to do. No amount of money or food can ever lure them to do something. Its love, love and love alone,…..

So, I came up with the idea of “Google Play School” a unique and fun-filled way of educating these poor children people around the world, who all make 50% of world population…..

Moreover every person in this world has a dream to learn something or the other. Someone wants to learn Guitar, someone wants to get some idea about Physics, some love music, my friend wants to learn Spanish,…and the list goes endless. What I want to imply here is that we all want to learn something new something we think that will make us complete.

So if we take the total world population which is around 7billion, then 7 billion people in this world wants to learn a thing or the other which is indeed a huge figure.
